It began during the all too familiar Circuit Breaker in Singapore in 2020. The once busy roads were devoid of vehicles and the vibrant bustle of the streets had evaporated. To curb the spread of Covid-19, social distancing laws were enforced and travel was restricted save for essential or important matters.
While trying to make the best of living and working in the confines of our home, I decided to spruce up my space by lighting up a few well-kept scented candles that were gifted to me by a good friend. It was upon lighting up the scented candles that a sniff of the heavenly smell magically lifted up my mood, giving me renewed energy and positivity to focus on my family and work commitments.
I soon realised the need for non-toxic scented candles that did not pose any significant health risk to my family and to the environment. My quest for sustainably sourced, cruelty-free alternatives resulted in the creation of luxury soy wax candles that are hand-poured in stylish glass jars with lead-free wicks and naturally derived fragrances that smell good - real good.
